INTERSECTION OF BLAINE STREET & STOLLEY

The Parkview Well Superfund Site is located in the southwestern portion of the city of Grand Island in Hall County, Nebraska. The site consists of two areas of ground water contamination and associated sources (Northern and Southern Plumes) resulting from the historical mismanagement of industrial solvents. Municipal and private wells are located within or near the ground water contamination for both plumes. The Southern Plume is the most extensive and for remediation has been devided into two Operable Units. Ground water contamination from this plume extends east-northeastward from near the intersection of South Engleman Road and West Husker Highway towards and beyond the intersection of Pioneer Boulevard and Commerce Avenue.
